Kayla-

In Hebrews 10 today, there is a beautiful verse that is just sticking out to me. It says, "Let us consider how to stir up one another in love and good works. Not neglecting to meet together as some, but encouraging one another...". We are at the time of year where we all gather with our families, serving each other, and giving gifts, there is just this aura of love and joy that fills us. We are celebrating the wonderful birth of our Savior. This verse reminds me that the feeling we have for serving and loving, and generosity (in all kinds of forms), isn't just meant for this month of the year or season, but for a lifetime. For our life time, we are meant to encourage each other, to love and serve one another. To celebrate Jesus Christ's life, every single hour of the day and day of the year, our lives were meant for that. To get together with other Christians and non-Christians, and build each other up and love each other. As it said earlier in Hebrews (I think.)....Encourage one another for as long as it is called Today.  Sometimes we all need encouraging, think about your needs, we all have things we wish people would reach out and just help us heal with words of some sort or something, and sometimes we don't get what we are wanting/needing for that healing or comfort. Something that I've tried to remind myself, especially this week, is that I have these different things going on, and sometimes I wish someone would just reach out and help uplift and encourage me, that the best thing I can probably do is to reach out to someone else and offer uplift-ment and encouragement to them. We so often in our selfishness, over look the needs of others, when we are feeling needy, and we shouldn't just be looking for someone to encourage us, but to be encourage-ers as well.

Blessings.  Derrick Reading through proverbs is great Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil. Proverbs 4:25-27 I'm going to keep it short today just wanted to post these verses that spoke to me as I move forward, I need to keep my eyes on the direction I'm going
